महिलाहरुमाथी श्रीमानबाटै बढि हिंसा
लोकतन्त्र स्थापनापश्चात पनि नेपालमा महिला हिङ्साका घटनामा कुनै कमी आउन सकेको छैन । यसले महिला हिङ्सा नियन्त्रण र महिला अधिकारको सुनिश्चितताका लागि हुने गरेका विभिन्न प्रयास पनि असफल हुदै गइरहेको पुष्टी गर्छ ।
लागू पदार्थ बोक्ने भरियामा महिला प्रयोग
चरेसलगायतका लागू पदार्थ कारोबारमा महिला प्रयोग बढ्न थालेको छ। तस्करहरुले महिलालाई ‘भरिया’ का रुपमा प्रयोग गर्ने गरेको प्रहरीको भनाई छ। चरेस बोक्ने तिनै ‘भरिया महिला’ मध्ये दुई जनालाई प्रहरीले पक्राउ गरेपछि यो तथ्य बाहिर आएको हो। उनीहरुबाट प्रहरीले १३ किलो चरेस पनि समातेको थियो। प्रहरीका अनुसार जिल्लाकै इतिहासमा यति ठूलो परिमाणको चरेस समातिएको यो पहिलोचोटी हो। तर चरेस बोकेका महिला पक्राउ परेको भने यो पहिलो होइन।
महिला मानव अधिकार रक्षकहरु माथि भएको हिंसा सम्बन्धी महिला इजलास
महिला हिंसा विरुद्ध कार्य गर्ने महिला मानव अधिकार रक्षकहरुमाथि पनि विभिन्न खालका हिंसा हुन्छन्, पीडक पक्ष, राज्य पक्ष, समाज र परिवारबाट विभिन्न खालका लाञ्छना खेप्न पर्छ साथै राजनीतिक दवाहरु भोग्न पर्ने जसका कारण महिला मानव अधिकार रक्षकहरु जोखिममा भएको तथ्य आफ्नो केस सार्वजनिक गर्दै विभिन्न जिल्लाबाट आएका १२ जना महिला मानव अधिकार रक्षकहरुले सबैका तर्फबाट प्रस्तुत गरेका थिए ।
महिला हिंसा घटेन
काठमाडौ, असार ७ – महिला हिंसाविरुद्धको सचेतना अभियान चलिरहेका बेला बोक्सीको आरोपमा हुने महिलामाथिको कुटपिट भने रोकिएको छैन । महिला मानव अधिकार रक्षकहरूले ०६८ चैत २८ बाट ६० दिने सचेतना अभियान थालेका हुन् ।
महिला यौनकर्मी सुरक्षित यौन सम्पर्कतिर
महिला यौनकर्मीले विगतका तुलनामा सुरक्षित यौन सम्पर्कमा ध्यान दिने गरेको पाइएको छ । काठमाडौं र पोखरामा गरिएको सर्भेक्षणमा महिला यौनकर्मीले विगतका तुलनामा सुरक्षित यौन सम्पर्कमा ध्यान दिने गरेको पाइएको राष्ट्रिय एड्स तथा यौन रोग नियन्त्रण केन्द्रले जनाएको छ ।
Ram Kumari Jhakri
Ram Kumari Jhakri is the President of All Nepal National Free Student Union (ANNFSU). Ram Kumari Jhakri ran for the presidential election of ANNFSU, a student wing of the Communist Party of Nepal (United Marxist Leninist), CPN (UML), in its 19th National Conference in Pokhara in September 2008. After a keen competition with a male candidate she came out as a victor. She rewrote the history of Nepali politics by becoming the first woman president of any student organization in the country.

Jhamak Kumari Ghimire
Jhamak Kumari Ghimire, born in July 1980 in Kachide village development of Dhankuta district is a Nepalese writer. She was born with severe disability that has prevented her from using her arms, and suffers from limited movement of her body and slurred speech called cerebral palsy and writes with her left foot. can hear but not speak and has limited eye sight. Ghimire also wears glasses because she has myopia, or nearsightedness. Her disability, however, hasn’t prevented her from expressing her acerbic, poetic humour freely ? through her left foot.Using her toes to write, she trod into the Nepali literature with the start of new millennium at the age of 19.
